Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Home Run Data Edge ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. In addition, when using the Service, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services.

Description of Service

Home Run Data Edge provides advanced sports analytics, statistical data research, and visualization tools for MLB and WNBA games. The platform aggregates, computes, and displays historical and predictive statistics intended for informational and research purposes only.

User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep this information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account.

Eligibility and Legal Age

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. If you use sports wagering information, you are solely responsible for confirming that you meet the legal gambling age and that wagering is lawful in your location. The Service does not accept wagers or operate as a sportsbook.

Subscription, Payments, Renewals, and Cancellation

Paid plans, billing periods, prices, and included features are displayed at checkout and may change prospectively. Payments are processed by Stripe. Recurring subscriptions automatically renew at the disclosed rate unless canceled before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future renewals and access generally continues through the already-paid period. One-time passes do not renew. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable after access has been provided.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade, resell or exploit for any commercial purposes, any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service. Automated scraping or mass-downloading of the analytics data provided by Home Run Data Edge is strictly prohibited.

User Content and Community Features

You retain ownership of content you post, but grant Home Run Data Edge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. You may not post unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, defamatory, private, or confidential material. We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion. User posts reflect the views of their authors, not Home Run Data Edge.

Intellectual Property

All proprietary metrics (e.g., BarrelScore, MatchupScore, ZoneFit), interface designs, and layout structure are the intellectual property of Home Run Data Edge. Team logos and player headshots are the property of their respective leagues and are used for identification purposes only.

Third-Party Data and No Affiliation

Sports statistics, schedules, logos, player images, news, odds, and other third-party material may be supplied by external providers and remain subject to their respective rights and terms. Home Run Data Edge is not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with MLB, the WNBA, MLS, ESPN, any team, league, sportsbook, or payment provider unless expressly stated.

Analytics, AI, and Gambling Disclaimer

The Service is provided for research, entertainment, and informational purposes only. We do not provide legal, financial, investment, or gambling advice. AI-generated grades, probabilities, projections, picks, and explanations may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect and must not be treated as guarantees. Past performance does not predict future results. You assume all risk for decisions made using the Service and should never wager more than you can afford to lose.

No Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free data, profitable outcomes, or that any feature will remain available.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Home Run Data Edge and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits; lost wagers; lost data; or business interruption. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Home Run Data Edge and its operators from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Service operator is principally located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
